Dr. Nawwaf Foundation responded to a community request by providing copies of the Qur’an to students at a madrasa in Nyankpala, Northern Ghana.
Ayisha Mohamed brought the need to the Foundation’s attention. Foundation member Hadiya Ali Prah helped obtain the copies from Imam Lamin Mosque in Alabar, Kumasi, and arrange their delivery to the teacher.
The surviving photograph was taken in difficult nighttime conditions. It is presented as documentary history without reconstructing faces, pages or details that the camera did not clearly capture.
